Bleu's K9 Rescue Inc is Non-profit Animal Rescue Organization. We are 100% foster and volunteer based throughout the Hudson Valley. We are dedicated in saving dogs of all sizes and all breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events/fundraisers.

We are committed to providing the dogs that come into Bleu's K9 Rescue with the best possible care in foster homes as they wait for their forever homes while providing the appropriate veterinary care needed.

We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering. We also do our best to break down the stereotypes of many “bully” breeds.

Because our foster homes are the backbone of the rescue and to help our organization run smoothly, it is our goal to provide the best experience possible. We encourage each foster home to be as involved as they can be. Our passion for animals goes beyond regular rescue. Our organization puts together monthly fundraisers to afford to foster and provide vet care. It also allows us to connect to the local communities on a face to face basis which we feel is very important. Our bottom line is that if an animal is in need, we will do our very best to help!

MEET LOLA!

MEET CHIP!

Chip is a 1 and 1/2-year-old 70lb husky lab mix. Great with dogs and older kids. Laid-Back, mellow guy. Loves to hike and go for car rides. He is medium energy level and loves to snuggle on the couch with you.

MEET LATTE!

She is a 1 and a half year old, 40lb Bully mix who has puppy energy for days. She would make a fantastic 2nd dog if you're looking for a playmate for your pup. She is very good with children as well.

Latte likes to cuddle but also likes her own spot on the couch at times. She is good in the car so would love long walks or hikes.She does need work on her leash walking so patience is a necessity for this sweet girl.

MEET BLIZZARD!

We have a very special dog who recently came back into Bleu's.

Blizzard was originally adopted as a puppy back in 2019. His previous owner had a major medical emergency and could no longer care for him so we knew we had to step in and help.

This is a rare occurrence but throughout the years we were able to keep up with Blizzard's progress in Dog Sports. His previous owner is very special in that she kept him very involved and busy with the best kind of canine enrichment around.

He is eight years old
He is very active; trained in Fast Cat and Dock Diving
He's just an amazing dog and deserves to continue to do the things that he loves also
He is good with other dogs, crate trained, housebroken typical silly goofy boy.
